Studio Wessendorf was founded in Berlin in 2008.

Our work focuses on all phases of urban planning and urban design. We operate throughout Germany and internationally. For each project, we establish interdisciplinary collaborations based on a shared understanding of architecture, the city, and the landscape.

The diversity and varying scale of the projects we undertake provide a significant advantage in delivering planning services. Our experience spans a wide range of project types and scales, allowing knowledge gained from one context to inform and enrich another.

For every project, we engage in an intensive analysis of the site to identify solutions that derive their strength from their inherent logic—creating places with a distinct identity, uniqueness, and lasting character.

A responsible use of resources, energy, and mobility forms the foundation of our climate-responsive planning approach. We see these principles as essential prerequisites for creating livable, sustainable, and future-oriented urban environments.
